I draw, I write, I animate and I firmly believe that the only way to truly tell a story and bring something to life with character and charm is without the aid of a computer, it is 'with your hands'. My work takes the long way round, by getting to know the idea, immersing myself in the process and enjoying what emerges when accidents happen. As Margot Fonteyn once said... "If I have learnt anything, it is that life forms no logical patterns. It is haphazard and full of beauties which I try to catch as they fly by, for who knows whether any of them will ever return?" My process is everchanging, but I mostly work with paint, collage and drawing. My animations all stem from a love of audio and music as they provide a unique narrative starting point to any moving image. I graduated with a BA (Hons) in Graphic Art and Design.
